Five CH-47s from the Colorado Army National Guard B Company 2-135 GSAB left Buckley AFB for Foot Hood, TX on 29 May 2011, where they will join up with their A Company sister unit from Nebraska for training.

They will be further deployed to Afghanistan for a 12 month tour based out of Kandahar.
