My final day in Japan, and both Neil and Mark had flown home, so it was spent around Tokyo doing some sightseeing and checking out Haneda Airport.
Navigating the trains was pretty easy and on arrival at the airport there were lots of options for shooting.
Most Japanese civilian airports have viewing decks, and Haneda has a plethora.
The place was awash, it seemed, with the new Boeing 787s.
The most interesting aircraft I saw was a Japanese Coast Guard DHC-8, in a sea of sleek airliners.
All the viewing areas were very popular and were used by a wide variety of people, and it's a real shame that this isn't a concept that's caught on elsewhere in the world.
After a couple of hours I'd had enough of shooting the same things and went into Tokyo proper, before going back to Narita to catch my flight home.
All in all a very successful trip, even if the weather tried its best to spoil it.photo/serial list]
