Duxford, UK (EGSU) - 2 July 2008

I popped into Duxford as I was told that some Swiss Air Force Alouette IIIs had dropped in. As these are getting to be a very rare helicopter to see now it was worth a small diversion. They were on a navigation exercise with “mother ship” a Super Puma.

While I was there Spitfire LFIX was doing a series of air-tests. This is owned by the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and was last seen as a clipped wing – it now sports full wings.
