Legends 2008 - Duxford (EGSU) - 13 July 2008

This was my first ever time at Legends and to say that I was impressed would be an understatement.

I elected to shoot from the fields to the south of the airfield to get better light and different angles, and apart from the heat haze coming up from the crops on this scorching day, it was a good move. In fact it was so hot that the corn around us was cracking all day just like popcorn.

An afternoon start meant constant flying with absolutely no gaps. Many of the aircraft flew straight over or towards us in the field and the day ended with the traditional Balbo formation - impressive!

Thanks to Karl for showing me where to go and the company.

of course in the immortal words of What The Duck - it's the peson who takes the photo not the camera.

Thanks for the compliment anyway :)
