Shuttleworth Pageant - Old Warden, UK (EGTH) - 2 September 2007

This was my first trip to Old Warden and I can't believe that I have never bothered to go there before.

This airfield and setting has got to be the most relaxed and accessible airshow I have ever been to. Families set-up shop with chairs and picnics and children run around pretending to be pilots.

They fly the aircraft in bunches that show off certain eras of early aviation, but unfortunately it was too windy to show off the Edwardian era aircraft.

Another nice touch here is that the flight line has a dog-leg which allows the pilots to perform dirty top-side passes.

The lighting this day wasn't the greatest, but I had a great time and will certainly come here again if the opportunity arises.
