Much has changed since my visit two years ago.
I was here to capture the departure of C-119 N8093 to the Hagerstown Aviation Museum, but found the time to see what was left of this once great fleet.
Since the departures last noted:
C-118 N233HP - flown to Seattle and since has been delivered to Everts in AK.
C-123 missing.
Other notes:
Some P-2s have been scrapped, as can be seen in the photos.
KC-97 N397HP (53-0208) has had its belly cut-out and fitted to Clay Lacy's C-97 (replacing the retardant tanks)
The 2 C-119s on the ramp are owned by scrap merchant Harold Sheppard - he intends to make one of these airworthy.
