Well today I shot my first even gun! Well when in Rome as they say.

While on base at Mountain Home AFB, ID covering the German Air Force deployment of Phantoms, myself and Mark were asked if we wanted to do some skeet shooting at the base range.

The skeets are launched from a voice activated "thrower" which is pretty cool.

I was very surprised at the amount of recall from the shotgun.

I fired at 5 skeets, and bagged the last one – quit while you are ahead!

If you look at the first photo, you can can see the skeet, the shot and the smoke from the gun - pretty cool.
